Silent Disco

Silent Disco? Sounds like an oxymoron, no? Well trust us, it’s real!

Join us for the most epic FCS dance party of…like…ever! Bring along your most comfortable dance swag – dancing shoes & casual after-work wear – to gear up for a little bit of fitness and A LOT of fun. Elevate your style with some bright colors to complement the glow sticks, black lighting, and surrounding disco balls, courtesy of yours truly!  

How It Works:

Register for the Silent Disco via the Conference App. Meet us promptly at (or before!) 8:00 PM in the Tennessee Room (2nd Floor). There, you will be given a pair of headphones. The DJ will provide specific instructions for how to use the headphones to quickly get the dance party started! You will boogie to several tunes from your headphones, switching between various channels with different music options. If you’re feeling it, shake your groove thing with a friend on the same channel, or dos-i-do on over to a new friend dancing to a different channel. And hey, if dancing is not your thing, no worries! Observing the silent dance party might be the most fun part of the whole event!

*Note the Silent Disco is capped at 70 people, so secure your spot by signing up in the App prior to the start of the conference. When you’re finished with your headphones, please share with others!

Snacks & Non-Alcoholic Beverages will be provided at the event. For-purchase beverages are available downstairs in the Atrium Bar, which may be brought up to the event.


Trivia

Hermitage A&B Room

Belly too full from dinner? Not feelin’ the Rhythm of the Night? Believe you lack Moves Like Jagger? Don’t really Wanna Dance with Somebody? Or perhaps your Hips Don’t Lie and you’d prefer a seated, more intellectually-stimulating event? Team Trivia may be right up your alley! 

Come on by for a game of Trivia, which will include a combination of FCS or Extension-based questions and general questions on pop culture, history, science, arts, or other topics. The sky’s the limit!

How it Works:

Register for Trivia via the Conference App. Hosted by a Professional Trivia Company in the Mississippi Room (2nd Floor), two trivia sessions will take place: one at 8:00 pm and one at 9:00 pm. At your assigned time, attendees will be asked to assemble into teams of 4-6 people. After, the DJ will ask you to find a table of your own, create a team name, and submit it. Then, trivia will begin! You will be prompted to answer a series of questions for points. Whomever answers the most questions correctly and earns the most points will win a special prize! Once trivia is over, we invite you to drop by the Silent Disco to observe or partake in the fun!

*Note each trivia session is capped at 40 people, so secure your spot by signing up in the App prior to the start of the conference.
