Financial Readiness For The Early Grades
Brought to you by Tennessee Jump$tart.
The Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions has provided a generous grant that will allow Tennessee Jump$tart to conduct a series of workshops around the state called "Financial Literacy for the Early Grades." As part of this program, participants will learn more about curriculum that is available to teach personal finance as well as find out more about organizations that have programs/resources focused on elementary education.
These professional development workshops will allow elementary teachers to enhance skills and learn how to incorporate personal finance topics into classroom lessons. Workshop participants will receive curriculum valued at more then $120!
Workshops are provided at no charge. Space will be filled on a first come basis. Participation is open to all Tennessee elementary educators as well as students enrolled in elementary education programs at Tennessee Colleges and Universities.
