Maternal and Infant Information

Data on prenatal, delivery and infant feeding can be entered into the EFNEP Reporting System 4.0 and later versions. This is information collected in addition to the Family Record, 24-Hour Recall and EFNEP Survey. The decision to collect this information is based on how much teaching occurred in maternal and infant nutrition. Therefore, it is not required by the state office. But, it does provide very useful impact data to describe educational efforts in maternal and child nutrition. If you use curriculum targeted to pregnant, lactating or women who have recently delivered, such as Smart Choices, you should submit data through ERS.
